Snoc and Appareil Architecture are proud to present “Cast”, a new collection of outdoor objects including a light fixture, a mailbox and an address plaque, designed to harmonize with modern architecture.

For this collection, Snoc called upon the multidisciplinary approach of Appareil Architecture, in an effort to breathe new life into its product line. This strategic collaboration combines Appareil’s distinctive architectural approach with Snoc’s seven decades of excellence in the manufacture of cast aluminum lighting fixtures. The designers at Appareil were thus able to rely on the advanced technical capabilities of Snoc’s engineering department to bring their creations to life. Made from cast aluminum in Quebec, this collection revisits the codes of architectural elements to highlight Snoc’s expertise and know-how. “Cast” highlights the raw aesthetic of sand casting, with reinforcing fins inspired by industrial metal structures, such as H-beams. These fins give a sculptural dimension to the objects while diffusing a soft and directional light.
